THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD
In 1965 Hollywood made a film called " The Greatest Story Ever Told " it tells the birth of JESUS CHRISThis ministry, his Crucifixtion by the Romans, his Death and Resurrection.
The film recounts the life of Jesus (incarnate) - GOD in Human Form
Jesus claiming his Divinity and willingly giving his life, being crucified and killed and returning to life 3 days later.Since the very crucifixion of Jesus in the 1st Century, the question of him being GOD the eternal messiah hasplagued generations ever since. Even so; against all odds, Christianity continued to spread across the entireglobe, to influence and structure the world we live in today.
Jesus Christ is by far the most Influential Person to have ever Lived. In 2000+ years questions continue to be asked today. Did Jesus rise from death after being killed as he claimed he would ? Is Jesus Christ truly GOD ?
Many billions of people today hold the position that Jesus had risen from death and is truly GOD, and many billions also hold the position he is not.
So when we study the life of Jesus, his closest followers, other people and examine the historical records, we must set about investigating honestly, with no pre-dispostion views of him. Or try to modify him and change the very character of who he was.
The historical records confirm that of Jesus and his resurrection; it was witnessed and then preached, it was not forced upon anyone. It was a choice people were free to make and come to. Jesus stated his Divinity - (GOD), and during his ministry claimed his kingdom is open to all who were willing to openly seek him. The Christian movement spread by free will, and that choice still continues today. The ancient historical records we have document his life, the crucifixion, the resurrection accounts and his asention to heaven. Even though people may not accept the reported resurrection accounts as real. When we investigate the life of Jesus, we cannot discard historical documented evidence, of witness testimonial accounts reporting the resurrection of Jesus.
These reported events and claims of the Risen Jesus Christ must be viewed like any other historic record, and taken into consideration before making any Final Decision. When you look at the story of Jesus and his declaration as GOD, you must at least consider the Resurrection claims and events that followed as part of your investigation.
If you choose Not to, then your examination of Jesus will be in Vain, and the objective to come to a satisfied conclusion will be futile.
